Minimum wage has gone up almost$4 an hour since I got my last wage increase. I still earn exactly what i got per hour in 2016. Unfortunately everything else has gone up since then and the pandemic reduced my work hours.
It’s a job. I always get suspicious when a boss talks about how we’re all family. The last time it happened, the guy had me wire up his new stereo system for a party. Didn’t get paid, didn’t get invited. Too much like family.
