When you put on blinders before you start you prove your lack of caring.

Empathy, respect, logic, reasoning, facts, result-driven decision making, client feedback decision making, six-sigma, lean, value additive processes, efficient, effective, reliable, continuously improving, etc, are attributes that describe thriving businesses.

Do any of these describe the process Congress is using in designing a health care policy for “we the people”?

Sorry but the GOP isn’t even interested in entering that room.

Jimmy Kimmel is extremely upset about being lied to by Cassidy about the health-care bill and he’s making sure that everyone knows it. Cassidy told him that it was a well thought-out prepared Bill ready for action. Then he found out that was a lie and he’s making sure that everyone knows he was lied to his face. That kind of publicity is going to be hard to live down as Kimmel is very popular. That bill can still be shot down, and maybe it will be by the same three votes as last time. Maybe!

The template used by the G.O.P. both in the House and the Senate Is to hide what is to be voted on until the last minute, and, for God’s sake, do not explain what’s in the bill! If the Representatives and Senators don’t know what’s in the bill, their assumption is that they CAN’T be held responsible for it – it’s called “plausible deniability”. And a further note; I suspect we will hear howls of rage after 2018 and/or 2020 when Democrats regain power and they start to use the aforementioned Republican tactics as a shining example of how to govern!

More tax breaks for coal producers will solve this, obviously.

It doesn’t matter if the Doctor can see, he never cared much for the patient in the first place.

Our well being shouldn’t be monopolized. How long are we going to let corporations govern us?

That’s not a cane. It’s an elongated nightstick. Or a cattle prod.
