A tad over the top with the coverage in my opinion. Scads of reporters telling others to get off the streets.. Standing in the rain and wind.. how stupid..
CNN does hurricanes really well, especially hurricanes in the US, but meanwhile they forget about all the rest of the world. I’m glad I can watch Canadian news, which does at least recognize that there’s a world out there.
I caught a picture of a truck wrapped sideways around a tree. Tree one, truck nothing.;-) Which makes the idea of a reporter standing out in an evacuated area, reporting a category 5 hurricane as a Mindless stupidity, not even good reporting.

I do believe there were more reporters and camera men/women than Floridians after the evacuations.

Killed in the line of weather reporting shows a disconnect from job requirements.

the most dangerous part of a hurricane is the flying debris and reporters.

Love how they say how awful things are and then a few cars, pedestrians and bikes pass by in the background.
