    Good morning Vagabonds.

Going to be a little cooler today with temp in low 70’s and scattered showers.

Nothing else going on except my son is coming down for two days. I don’t know what he is planning to do but it’s free.

Every one have a good day and enjoy your selves.

Good morning, Vagabonds. Yesterday, I had my appointment with the neurologist. My appointment was for 11:30; I got to the office at 9:30 but was not seen until after 3 PM. However, the MRI report showed that everything was OK. So, since no further appointments are necessary, I’m planning to return to Miami in about 3 weeks, right after the series of Jewish holidays are over.

    Good Morning Vagabonds,

Wow! Temperatures in the 60s in September?!! It’s about 79 here at approx. 8 a.m., so we’ll be in the 80s today.

Things are “near-normal” here in So. Fla., post storm. However, the cleanup continues. The county where I live (Ft. Lauderdale area) has a pop. of approx. 1.9 million. Miami-Dade County, to the south, has a pop. of approx. 2.7 million. I read that a city here in my county is using 40 trucks on 27 different routes to pick up storm debris (that’s just ONE city!). Hurricane Irma did one heck of a pruning job on So. Fla.’s vegetation!

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Glad things are getting back to normal. Arye, that is great news, indeed! And, thanks for the Irma update, Florchi. That is an incredible amount of debris! One question, where are they putting all this debris? I can’t imagine any amount of empty space that can hold that much.

Jan, so sorry to hear all your problems with your RV. I sure hope you can get things fixed so you can be on your way.

We went the whole day without burning our stove. Hooray! It warmed up nicely, and the retained heat was enough for the night. Of course, I already have my 2 quilts on the bed. But, we’ll enjoy our heat wave for a few more days. (68 yesterday).

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Rita, we seem to be doing okay today. We slept in until after 8 and are being very leisurely about doing much. The mechanic will be here this afternoon to fix the hydraulic alarm, the water pump is fixed and the car just needs to be run for a while after we park to build up the battery again. Other than that, we’re doing okay. Michael is making breakfast for me as we speak.

I still need to get over and do the laundry today, but not much else on the agenda. It’s still raining, but it’s a light rain and very peaceful.

    Everyone have a blessed day.
