@Uncle Joe. I don’t see Ted as pro-Trump. The DNC deserves all the scorn that it gets. They blew the 2016 election by having a coronation instead of a primary. Pointing out that the DNC is incompetent is merely stating the obvious. It does not make one a Trump supporter.
In short, these days we have a president who is really, truly, deeply un-American, someone who doesn’t share the values and ideals that made this country special.
Whatever role foreign influence may have played and may still be playing, however, we don’t need to wonder whether an anti-American cabal, hostile to everything we stand for, determined to undermine everything that truly makes this country great, has seized power in Washington. It has: it’s called the Trump administration.
I hope Ted is OK with always losing on everything, because that’s the price of extreme ideological intransigence. Sure you can cuddle up to your moral superiority, but you won’t get any of the things that you think are important done. Not one. Look at where the Republican party is right now because of the Freedom Caucus that refuses to deal or compromise. I’d rather deal and get some of my objectives realized…

The lesser of two evils, but these days not by much.

Never a better time to start working on getting Trump re-elected, eh Ted?

@Uncle Joe: Why would he bother? The Democrats are doing a pretty good job of that already.

Krugman’s op-ed this morning says it out loud:

In the end Trump won because the Johnson supporters compromised while the Sanders supporters demanded absolute ideological purity
