People dislike anyone or anything which makes them feel fear. On the other hand, many people rove in packs trying to scare others. Balancing the two dangers is a mite hard. If everybody thought you were harmless, they wouldn’t think they had to shoot you twelve times just in case. That is why I pretend to be harmless.
(I can always kill someone later if I absolutely have to, but so far I haven’t. This is preferable.)
