There’s a supermarket chain in my area which has in-store deli/lunch counters. In the seating areas they have toasters for bagels and such, and microwaves for heating frozen meals. The toasters and microwaves have big, red signs on them stating “No one under 18 is permitted to operate this equipment.” These are normal toasters and microwaves like you’d find in your average household. OSHA rules, apparently.

Damp Glutens left out in the sun, heated, began to Ferment…Someone drank the juice…Hey this ain’t bad….We better grow more grain and Ferment it!This stuff is good….You make them dummies grow it..We’ll collect it, and make “Beer” out of it….Sell it back to them, (with a tax of course)…I’ll be the “boss”…You start a "church’ to make them believe…and were on Easy street…..
I learned to prepare food for myself when I was alone while both my parents had to work. Under those circumstances, you realize you either have to learn to fend for yourself or starve. Best lesson I ever learned.
