    As with the roof flaps that pop up when a car spins, employ flaps that pop up when a ball goes over 75 MPH! The resultant drop would mean the ball would hit between home plate and the pitcher’s mound. That would mean moving the plate to 50’5".

    When I was a kid we played ball in a friend’s backyard. The center field neighbor was furious about balls in his yard. That led to an over the fence is an out rule. I suggest that.
