Wow! This is the 2nd strip to remind me of my old house! We moved there when I was 7. It had a “bulkhead”, which I had never seen before, and entering & exiting out of it was loads of fun. So was sliding down it (although my parents discouraged that).

I was so afraid of the root cellar in my grandma’s house when I was a kid and that’s where the bathroom was! I usually needed a change of clothes.
