And Andy’s IOUs were worth the same, then and now.
And gas was around $0.35 a gallon & we had gas wars that dropped the price!
Their TV looks like it may be from the 60s. I have paid as little as 19 cents a gallon during a gas war.
First time I’ve seen that couch without Andy sleeping on it.
Well, it was 1/- or so in the /early/ sixties. £sd took a lot of damage in that decade; just before decimalization a pint was more like 2/6 (a half-crown, but they didn’t have half-crowns anymore).
Sadly, the 60s were before my time. I do enjoy a lot of music from that decade.
