We met with the doctor yesterday evening and after going over all the options, we decided to go with radiation treatments. But we’re going to hold off until September so it won’t crowd the upcoming award presentation in August. Anyway, I’m pretty down right now. We told our kids and I think they took the news worse than we did.
@ david – I too will keep you in my prayers. If you could use a laugh right now, you might want to check out Bubba Watson’s appearance in the Crankshaft strip (over the past week). Take care, fif
David, you are in my prayers as well. As Mark said, I feel like I missed something, though.
Today’s forecast is for 83, with tomorrow in the 90’s and remaining there for the foreseeable future. I fear we are starting up with the summer weather now.
Michael had oral surgery yesterday to prepare for a partial denture. He seems to be doing well, but then he’s pretty private about his aches & pains.
Thank you for all the well wishes, everyone. For those of you who missed it, I had a biopsy last week and it reveled cancer cells. But it’s a slow growing kind of cancer and we caught it early. Doctor says it would be years before the symptoms started showing up, but he still recommends radiation to nip it in the bud.
Remember the scene in Paint Your Wagon, just before Rottin’ Luck Willy sings They Call the Wind Maria? You see various scenes around No Name City, and the trees…..the trees surrounded in fog………….Well, that is what our place looks like now. We have the most delicious fog surrounding our trees. It makes everything so silent and sacred. If there is a heaven on earth, this is the place!

Good afternoon Vagabonds.David, I am with the rest but I will put you on my prayer group’s prayer line for a fast recovery.
Today the weather cooled off to the upper 60’s with a good breeze.
May you all have a good weekend.

David, you are also on my prayer list. My Sunday School Class is small, but they are all dedicated prayer warriors.

Good Sunday morning Vagabonds.Today will be a nice sunny day with seasonal temps in upper 60’s because of the sea breeze we will have along the coast.

Well hello there Vagabonds
Yipe! From near 90 to near freezing in one day, I think I’ve got whip-lash.
Normal Sunday except after dinner my sister and I will head for the village cemetery to place flags on veteran’s graves.
May God bless.
