    We didn’t have a thermometer when I was a kid. If I felt the urge to play " sick " , I would rub my blanket across my forehead really hard to make it warm. I would use my " sick voice " to call my mom into the room and tell her I didn’t feel well. She would always place her hand on my forehead as if able to tell my internal temperature by doing so. I think it worked all of…..once.
