I used to jump from my window to the pear tree, then slide down to go ramblin’ with my buddy in the middle of the night when we were about 11 and 12. When my Dad found out he asked what we were doing while we were out. I told him some of the more mild stuff, and he just told me not to get in trouble. We avoided the worst stuff, but there wasn’t a streetlight around that was safe from our slingshots.
There was a TV pole which held the antenna beside my brother and my bed room window. He would slip out the window and climb down, then sneak back up He got jumped about it, too When asked how dad knew he said he was wondering why there were dirty foot prints up the side of the house.
