I’ve refereed over a thousand soccer games and watched my 3 kids play hundreds more. Rarely is anything broken, especially at the age of the kids in this comic. Lots of cuts and bruises, torn ligaments and cartilage though. My kids were fortunate, through college we had one trip to the ER for stitches and one partial meniscus tear.

Daddy is more concerned with what an injury is going to cost than just being proud of his son. Wait till he has to pay for a child psychiatrist!
