Theodore Lind, term limits will make the situation worse unless you removed money from politics first. Only the wealthy or those willing to be bought would have enough money to get elected. Lobbyists would LOVE to show the newbies how things work. Experience and knowledge are VERY useful – look at the disaster of Trump “learning” on the job.
.Limits could be put on positions within Congress – limit how long someone can be speaker, majority/minority leader, chair or member of the same committee. I’d like to see the entire Republican group on the science committee replaced since most of them don’t seem to know anything about science – e.g. Inhofe’s snowball nonsense.
Republicans have been in charge of Congress for 7 years now, what do we have to show for it? They can’t even take care of our healthcare? Jobs? When will America be great again? Too bad we didn’t drain the real Washington swamp, the do-nothing Congress.
