Trump and his administration has many ties to Russia, but the Republicans don’t mind a foreign country tampering with the US if they get their way. they don’t mind a mean and stupid president either, just look at the last few Republican presidents.
However, Democrats can focus on the fact that he has Russian connections, and is mean and stupid. As well as his nepotism, his business ties and his unconstitutional religious tests.
Rex Tillerson recipient of the award the Russian Order of Friendship from Russia as ambassador is as logical as if Henry Ford, recipient of the Grand Cross of the German Eagle, an award bestowed on Ford by Nazi Germany had been appointed ambassador in the 1930’s to Germany. The point is what does he know abut an ambassadorship? Little if anything. And it suggests a question of possible collusion whether with Germany or Russia, both were not allies then or today. So that is in itself problematical to most everyone except our Capitalist and Chief.

There is no fix for mean and stupid. ..We’ll just have to adjust( like North Koreans ) to living with a crazy guy in charge
