My cats can be fast asleep on the porch & seconds later under my feet if I go into the kitchen. They need to get trhu a cat door, cross the living/diner area & around a corner.
I live in the southwestern USA, hot desert. So in the summer I take my 2 weenie dogs for their long walk of the day before the sun comes up. As soon as I flip the light switch on they’re running around & jumping circles like this! And it’s b4 5am!

It would be nice to wake up so fast. The only things that get me out of bed is needing to use the washroom and getting my first cup of coffee.
