    Is it just me, or do the character designs look slightly different here? Marigold looks stockier, Phoebe’s head looks rounder, and her mouth looks bigger, etc.

    Of course, it’s really common for comic strips’ art styles to radically change as the years pass. I wonder if that’s currently happening right now.

    It’s a small thing, but I like that they took out the “same-gender” part. Sure, it could just be for the rhyme, but it felt to me like they were saying it was ok for someone to have a romantic valentine of the same gender.
