Perhaps in some ideal form Christianity is a religion of peace, but in practice over the centuries and still today Christianity has been a religion of war and conquest and colonization. I should add that I spent years working in the peace movement and my closest allies were Christian pacifists. I honor them for their sincere devotion to peace. But Christian pacifists are a tiny minority within Christianity.
Boy, did you hit the nail on the head with that one. Yes there are a few good Christians, and I’ll bet they are also not constantly telling everyone how good a Christian they are. The true good Christians let their actions speak for them.

About Merkel and liberal open door immigration policies, as much as we are tired of “immigrants” and I am. The gov is curiously silent on the reproduction rate of Americans. Perhaps we are not reproducing fast enough to supply workers to support an ever growing retired population. I figure it to be a ponzi scheme. One day it will crash. So maybe we need the immigrants.
