It is less so now, but back in the old days, your figure was probably true. The reporters were liberals because they were out in the field and knew the facts. The editors and publishers were rich Republicans and kept the real news from the reporters suppressed. Now they just employ fewer liberals and the quality has deteriorated accordingly.
Personally, even though I thoroughly dislike Trump, I think it would be a mistake to try to change things through a recount or through influencing the electoral college to vote for Clinton. The result would be a truly destructive constitutional crisis, the biggest since the Civil War. It would be impossible for Clinton to govern. My own expectation is that Trump will do something so egregious in the next year or so that the Republicans in Congress will turn against him and he will be impeached. I don’t like Pence any better than Trump, but maybe the whole extreme conservative brand will be so tarnished that the country will come to its senses and elect Democrats in 2018 ad 2020.

@OldCoal“I didn’t set a red line. The world set a red line.”
“What we said was, you can keep (your plan) if it hasn’t changed since the law passed.”
And how many times did we hear, “I found out the same time everyone else did.” Riiiiight.
