Poor Rover…back to the yellow snow!

I’ve never had a real tree.

When I was in Viet Nam a guy in my hootch got an artificial tree from his wife but the box with the ornaments got lost in shipment. We decorated the tree with the blue ribbons we cut off Pabst Blue Ribbon beer cans.

Around that time we had one of those silver metallic trees with a devise to shine colors on it in a wheel. And spray pine scent when needed.

Stopped using real trees when it took a grain scoop to keep up with the needle drop…

This all seems rather “Trumped up” to me. . . . .

I was expecting using the pull tabs. Larger supply, less work.

both my mom and brother are allergic to pine, so we’ve had artificial trees as long as I remember. They don’t look that bad, if decorated tastefully and not made up like it belongs in Vegas.
