I’m assuming Royaards doesn’t think highly of percussionists ;-)

…as Obama moves off-stage from 1st violist to 2nd fiddle.

Why complain, this is the “will” of the not quite 29% who took the time to vote. With less than 60% turnout and non-proportional, first past the post, elections, it could be worse.

We danced to the fiddle and it was good.

Now we will march to the drum.

American people did not like the subtlety of the concerto, after the toy piano of W and the jazz sax of Clinton, Obama was too refined for our tastes. We spent 8 years booing his expert performance and screamed for “Free Bird”. When Clinton came along with her flute for the second act, we were already fed up with this kind of music. And demanded the loud booming drum (to the beat of jackboots) be our voice on the World Stage because a minority of Rural Voters were sick and tiered of having to listen to a black man.

Racist Trump has more brass than a military band.

I dunno. More than half a million Americans have given the last full measure of their devotion to democracy by fighting totalitarian rule in Europe. Wildly successful Marshal Plan and private American humanitarian aid freely given to all self-determined European nations (and a few dictators to boot) has been our history. Our Fathers and Grandfathers couldn’t have been so wrong as to give their lives and treasure for nothing. Hang on Europe, the real U.S. will be back someday, for Nous sommes vous.
