It is interesting that president Obama selected Comey for the FBI. Typical of him. As a true statesman, Obama was trying to collaborate with the republicans—which he tried many times over the years, to no avail. It’s an impossible task to work with the right wing because they see compromise as failure. Some statesmen over on THAT side of the aisle. But it is possible after she gets elected that Clinton will be glad Comey did this before the election. If it had happened after she had been elected, then the republicans would (once again) throw whole country aside while they create havoc with their nonsense. And, no, I don’t think Clinton compromised national security. No, I doubt there’s anything in the Carlos Danger emails. No, Hillary is not a demon (which a substantial minority of Trump supporters seems to believe!!??). By the way, I have never been a fan of either Bill or Hillary—and I’m not now. But consider the alternative! There really is no choice here if you are a patriot. On the other hand, if you really don’t care about our country, then go ahead and elect Trump—and all of us will suffer the consequences. Global trade war, likely race riots, probable depression (global equity markets have been tanking with the mere suggestion the race is tightening), probable stupid wars (again), attempts to curtail freedom of the press etc, etc.
I was raised by Eisenhower Republicans (anti-McCarthy,pro-union,etc), which today would be left of Obama’s and Hillary’s ideologies.
The Regan win seemed to destroy any hope of either party abandoning Neo-Liberal thinking no matter how many times it fails. They just keep lengthening the time frame for it to show results.
