That is a democrat lowering itself to republican strategies.

[shocked gasp] A teen girl dabbling in “witchcraft?” Stone her! Burn her at the stake! …. or not. People do stupid things in their tweens and teens.

It’s her current personal financial mess that should be more troublesome for voters. She needs to sort out her own house before attempting the state house.

^ That’s just as “smart” as saying Obama is muslim…more mudslinging.

At least with Maher, you can say maybe it was made for comedy.

Replace “O’Donnel” with “Pelosi” and people will buy it.

You mean we SHOULDN’T be worried about a candidate’s religious background? Oh, you mean there are two standards. I see.

And the clip that Maher showed was, as he indicated, blackmail to get her to appear on his current show. I’m hoping she won’t so we can see more of these jewels.

She was on Bill’s show 20+ times. So he’s got lots of footage. I doubt she’ll be upset over anything she said. The base will love her for it and others will think she’s a little weird. But only the voters in Delaware matter.

if she did this “dabbling” in Hi School, if u think about it, Maher’s the one who’ll look kinda lame - I read he’s going to keep playing a tape till she makes another appearance on his show - oooh, scary, Bill - what awful hi school prank are you going to unearth tomorrow night?! What a crack reporter….

But we should vote for her anyway, right? Cause she’s hot, like Palin.

Bill Maher is a Libertarian, BTW. And why not lower yourself to republican stratagies? It seems to work for them.

Some Constitution - I thought religion wasn’t supposed to be in government. Also I believe Wicca is a religion as Arlington Cemetary now recognizes it. Obama IS a christian BUT what if he was a muslim or even atheist OMG!!!! O’ Donnell is just a young uneducated girl playing to the tea party.

Human development: loyalty to family/tribe/political party comes first. As humans develop cognitively, emotionally, socially, they are able to separate out principles and act according to them (e.g. the unabomber’s brother who turned him in…the safety of others more important than loyalty to his brother).

At maturer stages of development, people are able to be self and tribe critical, without losing their love for self/tribe/nation…they are able to separate actions from essence —My nation did some bad things, that does not make it a bad nation, and I love it warts and all.

We have a lot of people who simply are not there, yet. For them, love of country means never having anything bad to say (especially to anyone outside ‘the family.’) Loyalty is more important than competence…if he’s/she’s one of us, then that’s all that matters….There do appear to be more Republicans at this stage of development…There are entire books written about Bush II’s emphasis on loyalty over competence, and as Simon_Jester noted S.Palin’s leaving her town in deep debt is irrelevant to her supporters.

I believe Odonnell said she visited a witch session but did not like it….that was when she was in high school. as an Adult she professes to be Christian and has adopted the Christian creeds, which condemns witchcraft, abortion and many other sins according to the Bible.

Odonnell says she has Conservative political views, and has said how she would vote on issues likely to be voted on in the Senate.

At her present stage in life she sounds responsible and reliable, so Delaware voters should give her at least as much credibility as they do democrats like Hillary Clinton who during 8 years living in the White House “talked” with Eleanor Roosevelt…!!! (that is also a sin in the Bible…it cost King Saul his life)

I believe her “witchy watchy” days were at age 22, as she said herself last week. As to her sounding responsible or reliable, well, Sarah quit too.

Wow! The “New” REPLACED the old? Then Genesis really IS just the myth we always knew it was, and doesn’t count? Actually, given history, Bruce, they’ve been just VERY DANGEROUS books. The bottom line is that “followers” of the books have picked and chosen to negate 99.9% of the positive message in either.
