The Clinton Campaign
Pre-September: Cuz I have extensive experience in public life, am realistic enough not to expect big changes, have drafted detailed proposals.
Now: Be inspired!!!
To tame, elect Trump and we can watch him put the nuclear button. That will teach them a lesson and it’s macho. When your kids and grandkids are fighting in the Mideast quagmire you can know you got tough with ISIS.
Does this mean she’s starting to aim her campaign at the voters? You know, those people who seem to have the intellectual capacity of a mob of mice? If that’s her approach, she’ll definitely lose, because chRump has been far more effective at rousing the voter who acts on colon feelings.
I’m sure I won’t be any more inspired during her 8 years than I am now. Maybe we’ll get a real progressive in 2020 because of her tepidness, age, health or all three.
The dems go for incremental change, one step at a time. The vicious republicans get in and drag everyone 10 steps backward. The whole system needs to be overhauled, like Bernie suggests.
Which detailed proposals are people confused about? The ones they don’t read? Her platform and plan for her tenure as president is pretty easy to find. Clinton’s economic plan: 1. Boost Economic Growth. Give tax cuts to the middle class and small businesses, establish an infrastructure bank, and fund more scientific research.2. Create Fair Growth. Raise the U.S. minimum wage to $15 an hour, increase workers’ benefits, expand overtime, and encourage businesses to share profits with employees.3. Support Long-Term Growth. Hillary would combat “quarterly capitalism” by raising short-term capital gains taxes for those earning $400,000 or more a year, the top 0.5% of taxpayers.Trump’s plan:1. Keep mortgage interest deduction; knock out carried interest. I’m going to be bringing back jobs from China, from Japan, from India, from Brazil.2. Make economy dynamic; bring back jobs from China & Mexico. Well, I think what they should do is use the debt limit as a strong negotiating tool to make other changes and to cut costs elsewhere. 3. Strong on debt limit; ask for a pound of flesh. OK, I would use the debt limit.4. Grow the economy at 6% annually by ending inversions. Under my plan we’re going to grow the economy.-——————————now you can talk about real plans instead of how they are inspiring their camps.
And you find (either) Clinton to be trustworthy? I don’t, although it is glaringly obvious that she is a far better choice than Drumpf. If I lived in a “swing” state I would vote for Mrs. Clinton. I live in NY and I will write in Bernie Sanders.
The Wolf In Your MidstWhile not in person, I have seen newsreel films of quite a few mushroom clouds in my lifetime. One of my father’s seminary classmates was headmaster of a Christian girls’ school in Hiroshima. Nagasaki had the largest Christian community in Japan and the largest cathedral in Asia, Some Americans have had health affected by the nuclear tests in this country and Micronesia. And still self-proclaimed “Christians” haven’t stopped cheering.

I am afraid this country’s voters do not have much of a choice come November 8th.

This change was brought about by people speaking up and making demands. Let’s keep at it, progressives!

It’s true—she has no message. She should be walking away with this. . .except that she is dull and uninspiring.
