After watching that current “debacle” on FOX News this a.m. this cartoon hits it right on the head in my opinion. Four words uttered by the “talking heads” certainly ring true: “the fix is in”
We have 2 standards of justice in this country. One applies to the governed, the other to the government. Usually, the law is written to reflect that difference, which is why Congress and the President aren’t constrained by EEOC regulations, minimum wage laws, Obamacare, etc. When Congress wrote the legislation governing maintaining the security of State secrets, they neglected to exclude themselves, and the executive and judicial branches of government. Comey was merely recognizing this oversight in his decision not to prosecute.
