    Um… perhaps FIlomena meant the corn was on sale at a different store, not the store Carmen’s already at.

    I use an Amazon pricing app because items are NOT marked. I still buy at the store if the price is close enough.

    Even though I often buy the cheapest, that’s not always the case with fresh corn. Looked at some priced at 25 cents, a couple of weeks ago, but bought the 5 for $2 instead. The cheap priced corn was dried out, the higher priced was much better quality.

    NeedaChuckleMarkings are getting rarer and rarer. The DARK Act will prohibit proper labeling of food, giving full license to rip off all too poor to have prescribed electronic gizmos.

    The corn probably was on sale… yesterday. Most grocery stores I’ve known run their sales from Wednesday through Tuesday. So with today being Wednesday the store would be starting the new weeks sales.
