50 dead is not enough to talk about rational solutions to our gun problems. People dying every day from more powerful guns. Children shooting and being shot. Mass shootings happening almost daily. Too soon to discuss the gun laws that are being eroded to make this kind of massacre possible. But the PC right can’t stand calling it an “assault” weapon, it wasn’t a “tragedy” and the shooter wasn’t a “madman” if you don’t use the right words, they get all upset. While the left just wants the killing to stop and easy access to guns is part of the problem.

Of course there was. There was a background check every time he purchased a firearm. There was a deeper check when he got his Security Guard license. The FBI had checked him out multiple times due to possible terror links. Haven’t you been paying attention?

If we do not care about each other we defy (defile) everything the America stands for. Our constitution was written at a different time with different customs and technologies. We’ve had 240 years to amend our constitution as the founders suggested we do to accommodate the changes that the future will bring. The longer we procrastinate in cooperating to eliminate the counterproductive polarization, the longer things will go wrong and seem out of control … because they are.Blaming the opposing party for everything that goes wrong is not solving a single problem as the decreasing enrollment in these parties should point out to any casual observer.
