Nothing new. Anti-incumbency is what it is. Which is interesting since it’s mostly the Democrats’ squirming and caving to Republican obstructionism that has their base upset.

I’m curious just what do you think constituted “wrecking.” For a party with majorities in both chambers of Congress, the Democrats did relatively little from 2006 to 2008, and they have been lackluster in their results since - for a party that had solid majorities in Congress and the presidency.
They didn’t prevent the crash, true - and that’s about as far as it gets.

Folks in Congress should look back at 94 & 00 when the dems refused to use Clinton’s coat-tails – not a good outcome.
