Catherine the Great was only in power because she married a Czar and then offed him because she was tired of is inbred crazy, and was smarter than the rest of the aristocracy. How does none of this impinge on Rall? He needs to study a bit more, I think.

Mary Queen of Scots did not marry her way into power. Sure she was wed to the King of France but only for a brief time and thanks to her mother in law had no real power and got very little in the way of wealth out of the deal. Her next marriage was to a lesser Scottish/English nobleman and ended in disaster. Her real claim to power came to her through her father and her own ambition and intelligence.

None of those previous panels included a woman for an American president. However, Clinton isn’t president yet. So apart from the cheep shot at the end he has a point. It’s not like you get a trophy for being the second place looooser.
