Back in the early to mid 60s, when my Dad took us on a road trip, we had a “Car Bingo” game. You had to get a number (or letters? Can’t remember) from license plates of cars on the road. Of course, when you are traveling on the Thruway, you end up with the same cars around you unless you make an effort to speed past them. This is what my Dad did after we complained that we needed new license plates to look at. And, yep…you guessed it. Suddenly a cop was pulled us over for speeding. (We got a ticket). I think that was the last time we played….
