It’s not that bad. There must have been 2 jobs out there. After 4 years I just got a job that pays about $16K less per year than my last permanent full time position. Oh, well! It beats welfare. Is this a great country or what?
And then I hear Jay and the Americans sing about America as the Great Land of Opportunity and things like that (No, really - the song’s called “Only In America”)
