The Republican plan is more tax cuts, a couple of unpaid wars, and increase “services” increasing the US debt and drowning us all. The guy does not have to be knocked in. They will just raise the water. .Their track record speaks for itself.

Yeah, ‘four more years of Obama’ would really sink the economy.

You know, it’s shameful. Obama’s been in office for seven years and the S&P 500 has not even tripled yet.

We need another eight years of Bush. That’ll cool things down.

Bernie’s tax hikes will trickle down to the middle class, Hillary’s will not.

Lisa really needs to get out more. Trump and Cruz both propose tax cuts that would make it official – the US is bankrupt.

All I can say is there is a calculator out there telling how much more or less we would pay under each candidate’s tax plan. My wife and I would end up paying around $14,000 more each year in taxes under Bernie, and we sure as heck aren’t wealthy. $14,000 off our net income would cause us to lose both our cars, not pay for our son’s aging hearing aids (they have about a year and a half left in them), or be able to save for our retirement. That’s the real impact on real life for his tax plan. It would adversely affect the middle class, and in a very real way. I will never support him, because his plan will cripple middle America.

Jimmy Carter left a $85Billion deficit. Reagan ran it up to $399 Billion. Clinton took over with the $399 Billion deficit and left office with a $28 Billion dollar deficit. Bush then ran it back up to $574 Billion, and Obama has brought it back down to just over $19 Billion…………………………………………. The record is plain that the Republicans are the ones who run up the deficit.

I think the 19 billion should be Trillion.

Oh that’s rich considering how both Cruz and Trump’s tax plans would increase the national debt through tax breaks for the top 1% that even scrapping the entire defense budget wouldn’t even make up the deficit.

Both Hillary and Bernie plan to raise taxes…H’s plan is to squeeze $3 Trillion more per year from the bloodless turnips called “taxpayers.”-The US and the World’s IMF plan to seize citizens private bank accounts to try to prevent national economic collapses.-Each April it seems that the news is that “this is the highest amount of taxes collected, ever!”-And that is the fact, even though 45% of Americans do not even pay IRS income taxes!-I liked this article today, http://townhall.com/columnists/donaldlambro/2016/04/15/bernie-sanders-wants-us-to-be-like-europe-where-unemployment-is-more-than-10-percent-n2148677/page/full-The UK’s PM, Margaret Thatcher, was quoted…“the problem with socialist governments is, at some point in time they run out of OTHER PEOPLE’S MONEY!”

And who tanked the economy? Gave a tax cut when handed a budget of declining deficit and projected debt reduction? Two unpaid wars?.But again who tanked the economy that Obama had to recover from?.Bush

@D LeeYou are looking at individual years. Not sure where you are getting the 19 billion under Obama, but that is after he doubled the national debt and got it to 20 TRILLION. It was only 10 TRILLION when he came in office.

Bush wars weren’t included in budget so his numbers were lower than they REALLY were.I’m a Dem, I pay plenty of taxes. Your constant insults and false assumptions are tiresome.Take a look at the number of huge companies that DON’T pay taxes. Verizon CEO whined that Bernie was picking on him when Bernie talked about the NEGATIVE 2% tax rate Verizon paid from 2006 – 2012. Then refuted it by using 2013 numbers without addressing the numbers and years Bernie actually used.
