Come on, it’s the republicons that are the crooks. And that drawing is way overdone. People who look like that are grotesque.

They favor Hillary over Bernie perhaps unfairly.

The DNC has super delegates, the RNC has brokered convention. Both parties have stop-gaps to make sure the right kind of candidate is put up for the general election. There are Caucuses, winner-take-all states, states which give a percentage based-delegate vote and primaries.

The Elephant reminds you that your vote does not count at the brokered convention!

Let the states come up with their own rules for their local elections, but there should be one process for national elections. They should all take place on one day, get rid of the electoral college so everyone’s vote counts at the same level, and get rid of brokered conventions and super-delegates.The biggest change should be to shorten the election season.

I agreed with you right up to abolishing the electoral college and then picked you up again at shortening the ‘crazy’ season.

Hillary is winning the delegate count without the superdelegates..All Democratic primaries candidates win delegates proportional to the vote..Superdelegates have never gone against the candidate that wins the most delegates by vote..Sanders is trying to get superdelegates to switch their votes to him in order to win at the convention because it is in reality impossible for him to win the majority of delegates through the primary process..Republicans kind of have “superdelegates” – 3 RNC members per state. Not enough to actually make any difference..Only some of the states have Republican primary delegates are proportional to the primary vote. Many states are winner take all or some combination. Wisconsin was winner take all by district and state wide. .Just telling it like it is. As far as Nick Anderson’s cartoon it has yet to be correct, but if Sanders somehow gets superdelegates than their votes will count more than the primary voter delegates which Clinton leads in.
