The Trump campaign proves this stance isn’t just in North Carolina. Truly a sad situation promoted by a media that has given Trump over two billion dollars worth of free coverage.
There have always been those among us who hate other human beings on the basis of skin color, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, etc. The Civil Rights struggle of the 60s can seem far away when the members of the white “Christian” majority decide it’s time to prove once and for all that they’re better than those not like them. North Carolina – The State that Hates has started losing business for their new policies. Conventions and other events will likely go elsewhere. Jobs and revenue will be lost, which will mean a lower tax base and less money to fund the NC state government. It is difficult to create jobs and foster economic opportunity in a state so thoroughly committed to bigotry and exclusion. This is the lesson that the Islamic State is learning as well.

I used to be proud to live in NC, then the “right wing” took over the legislature and the governor’s mansion.
