Ralph: My March 1st tradition... Klunk! Throwing away the Poinsettia!
If you keep watering them they keep growing!!
A friend of mine took hers and planted it outdoors. Last I saw it, the thing was about 8 feet tall and 6 feet across, and still growing…
I got rid of mine on January 21st. It was getting a little droopy; but it did last an entire month, upon my getting it home from church!
Mine is still bright and blooming! I put it outside next to the hummingbird feeder to attract the little buggers.
recycle that pot!! Yes they grow great out doors .. in the south!
What happened to Norman’s running for class president?
I put mine up high on a shelf to keep it away from the cat. And forgot to water it (the plant, not the cat), so I need to do the same thing (dispose of the plant). Sigh.
You could at least keep the pot and try again in November!
Put it in the yard waste, then it will go back to the earth, and come back as compost.
