He’s wearing a green vest. The weather creature stands in front of a green screen. The techs call it chroma green. The result is that viewers will be able to see a part of the weather map right through him. I’ve seen that happen on St. Patricks day.

The ones I feel for are those that have to go outside in the middle of a hurricane, and report, “I’m outside standing in the middle of a hurricane. Officials say to stay indoors”.
