I have picked Sir John Falstaff as a better identity because he is, according to Sparknotes, “Old, fat, lazy, selfish, dishonest, corrupt, thieving, manipulative, boastful, and lecherous” In other words: me.
I don’t know anyone whohas read “The Hobbit” or other Lord of the Rings books since they were assigned in high school a loooooong time ago. Most younger fantasy enthusiasts are Harry-Potter-transitioning-to-Marvel-Universe. :)
