Fairportfan, generally speaking, wine has a higher alcohol content than even very strong beers and ales. Try drinking six pints of Chardonnay over the course of an evening and see if you can remember your own name…

Now that I’ve said all I can on the matter of her dress, to the defense of Andy. Most of the time he is not drinking, he is laying around scheming to get drinking money, He has not beat Flo in years, Using my limited memory powers, do I recall that Flo also had a habit of beating him? Let us not be sexist, the reason domestic violence seems against women is you are not going to call 911 and say “My wife is threatening me with a fry pan’” Who starts the fight when he tippy toes in?

Certainly I’d say that’s his preference, but would he pass up free wine (at a tasting) in favor of beer that he has to pay for?
