It seems that Bear was hibernating. Whoever discovered that cave. Took the book and assumed Bear was burned and crawled in the cave to die.
“Swearing” in G.A. Is this a first?
Does a bear say $#@% in the woods?
OOOh bear ,you kiss your mama with that mouth ?
The scrapbook was found under a bear in a cave. How did they find the scrapbook if it was under a living, sleeping bear? Maybe the bear rolled over, and the responder then found it but didn’t say it was an alive bear.
Does the yellow star make it “colourful language”?
Maybe it’s an expletive that only bears know.
Considering the characters, that “swear word” must have been “dang” or “dag-nabbit!”
Some potty-mouth has been hanging out with Rat over at “Pearls Before Swine.” I need to move the comics further away from each other.
I love this strip!!I like the colorful language comment too..
