I object too. Darwin drew a tree, not a linear progression chart, but I understand artistic license. I just wonder if the artist understands the science.
Sad but true: Darwin was not there when they presented his and Wallace’s theory in front of the Linnean Society. That day he buried his son! I’m definitely not refuting the comic value of this strip, just stating a fact.
