I’m mystified as well, I hope other posters can explain. Is it just that Poncho is a cubist?

Maybe he sees the cat as a blockhead or dumb as a brick? But certainly nothing with any dignity.

Thank goodness it’s not just me. I usually count on your comments when I’m as dumb as a brick and don’t get the joke but this time I’m not totally alone.
