It’s been driving me nuts! Li’l Eugene has had that annoying white spot at the bottom of his shirt since this strip began. Somebody find a blue Sharpie™ and fix it!

That white dot on Eugene’s shirt has been there since the story arc, “Mamma Mia, That’s a Big Jar of White-Out!” Professional that he is, Scully continued to include the white dot for continuity.

Of course, the cast of TCSTHAFED was a lot bigger before the “Mamma Mia, That’s a Big Jar of White-Out!” arc; and there were actual backgrounds instead of the big wall of white that we’ve come to expect. But I think that the streamlining made the storytelling much more coherent.

The white wall background, as most long-time readers know, was Moby Dick until the job was passed over to his son Moby Jr. who is filling in admirably.
