The term is ‘delusion.’

At my gym, they’re the “Resolutioners.” Usually by the end of February, a handful have been absorbed into the gymnosphere; the rest shaken off like dead skin.

Usually the gyms around here try to cash in on this by offering “Holiday Health” packages.

JackiAnneI thought a gymnosphere was a geodesic nudist resort. (Go back to the etymological Greek for that one.)

It is the “verbal elite” who know when it’s all right to use the perfectly legitimate “ain’t.” I had a professor in my grad school years who loved using the word. Truly amazing how much space is taken up here by Puma and 2 or 3 others taking pot shots at each other.
