Funny story: I work security at a concert venue. They also host graduations there, including one at which Oprah sponsors a few girls. She came one year and was awarded an honorary degree. The next year Paul Simon was in the audience because his daughter graduated. The year after that Oprah was back, this time in the audience to see her girl graduate. I was at the gate between “backstage” and the seats. Oprah got to bring her car down and was walking to her car. I was looking away, and held my arms out to block the path, and accidentally smacked Oprah with my hand. She just kept walking. I thought I’d hear about it, but no.
I also let Mr. Simon backstage to use the private bathroom. He’s SO short! I held up the chain so he could duck under, and he said “That’s not necessary!”
