Eldest Daughter’s mother-in-law had that attitude. Monday, she went to the hairdresser. Tuesday she went to the dry cleaner. Wednesday . . . And when she got too bad off to drive, she expected Eldest Daughter to take her out everyday.

New Year’s Day: watch the parades and take down the Christmas decorations. Worst part is getting the full boxes back up in the attic.
