He has the highest DISAPPROVAL ratings of any candidate ever. The “Teflon” part only applies to the GOP base, who have never had any use for facts. They still think Obama is a socialist Muslim, the war in Iraq was a good idea, and that Obamacare is a bad law.
@ChevJames007-Re: point 1 – Who says they are unrestricted and unvetted? Where is your proof?Re: point 2 – I have no problem with magazine limits. As my dad would have said anyone who needs more than 1 or 2 shots to kill what they are aiming at shouldn’t have a gun anyway.Re: point 3 – This one I agree with.Re: point 4 – I lean toward agreement but do not have enough hard evidence for a firm decision.Re: point 5 – He is no more effective or ineffective than most presidents we’ve had. And a dead rat would have been better than G. W. Bush.Re: point 6 – Partly agree – partly disagree – This problem has been going on way too long for it to be just an issue of Obama.Re: point 7 – This is completely true, but the problem with blaming it all on Obama or indeed any president is that the president doesn’t have unlimited power to do as he wishes. Many thing could have been done if the Republicans would at least consider compromise. All they seem to understand is the word NO!
