If wishes were horses, beggars would ride.While I find the generosity of mega-millionaires admirable, the small amount of money I give makes a difference too. I don’t go around patting myself on the back. Gates, Buffet, Zuckerberg have insured their philanthropy by announcing it.
Not quite the utter altruism people are praising it as… don’t imagine that he won’t be using those monies to promote all of the causes (many of them, I would assume, good) that he chooses. In other words, I am pretty confident some of those millions/billions will go to advocating policies that will cost middle class American taxpayers even more than we already pay.

Call bull***, granted the median guy will pay more in taxes than Mark or Trump, or Mitt, percentage-wise, it won’t come anywhere near 99%.
