Never, ever shake fountain pens. And why does she listen to him, anyway?

In the early ’60s when we were taught cursive we had to use fountain pens. What a messy nightmare…and if you pressed too hard the tip would separate and make 2 lines. Ugh. I do have nice, legible handwriting, though, so maybe that precise control actually did help.

I write with one nearly daily. Never shake it!

I rest my case on Opal…It’s a good thing Earl didn’t tell her to wet the tip with her tongue.

My finicky neurologist husband always writes with a fountain pen. He has to buy them on line.

Ever tried to write with a Feather Pen? Very difficult… the duck does nothing but complain about it…

I have a Fountain Pen but it’s still in it’s pack.

I want to keep it as a valuable just like I’m keeping soap from Disneyland.

I used a fountain pen when I took shorthand.It would clog and I would sling it to unclog and every girl in my class would cringe.GOOD TIMES!

The fountain pen is why God gave us the pencil (with an eraser.)
