My mom was one of those substitute teachers that actually taught (actually most of my subs taught!). Very seldom did I have a “movie day” when we had a substitute. If the TEACHER was a good one, they left lesson plans. And if the SUB was good, they followed them.

i only remember getting a movie when they were redoing the gym floor, in winter, so no gym outside either. “my bodyguard” which i was already in love with, anyway. the bullied kid gets the bully!!
